Eclipse season is here!

We have a busy month ahead. July aftermaths are still in the air at the beginning of the month, and with the upcoming eclipses, something is brewing. On August 3rd, Chiron goes retrograde until January 6th, 2027. He will dip back into Aries, finishing wounds around our identity. Good news, Mercury will clear its retrograde shadow on August 6th and start picking up speed. Two asteroid goddesses, Pallas Athena and Vesta, turn retrograde as well. Pallas on August 14th and Vesta on August 25th. They are both in Aries, revising the strategic plan of action and consolidating with our passion and devotion. On another note, Venus enters her retrograde shadow on August 31st. She will be retrograde from October 3rd until November 13th in Scorpio and Libra. Relationships will be on a test.

On August 12th, the Total Solar Eclipse at 20°01' Leo is inviting us to step into our own leadership role. Eclipses are lunations on steroids, and often suggest major beginnings and endings. This particular eclipse is part of a larger Saros family cycle, number 126. Everyone belongs to a specific saros eclipse family. If you belong to this one, it may be significant for you. During this eclipse, we have 2 kite formations in the sky. One is a grand air trine between Venus, Pluto, and Uranus, with Pluto opposing Mercury and Jupiter. The other kite has the same air trine, but this time Venus opposes Neptune. On one hand, love and romance are the way to go (watch out for idealizing others). On the other hand, deep, passionate, intense connections may arise. The most affected will be all fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius, and all of you with natal placements between 17°-23° of those signs.

On August 28th, the Partial Lunar Eclipse is at 4°54' Pisces, squares Uranus. With Mercury being so close to the Sun and in square to Uranus, energy will be electrifying. Don't make rash decisions; do your due diligence. Expect disruptions, traffic issues, and nervous communication. This eclipse belongs to the Saros eclipse family 138. This lunation is part of the lunar gestation family, which began on the New Moon on February 27th, 2025. Events of that new Moon might come up on this lunation. The most affected will be all mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, and all of you with natal placements between 2° and 8° of those signs.

1. Pluto is taking a rest this month after making a stir with Jupiter in July. His only activity is a beautiful trine with Venus in Libra on August 10th and opposition with Mercury in Leo the following day, on August 11th. These aspects occur just days before the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo, bringing psychological issues to the surface. Trine to Venus makes power couple partnerships, and opposition to Mercury will bring curiosity to hidden, dark places. Pluto goes out of bounds on August 13th, where he will stay until December 9th - things might get out of control!
2. Neptune has an opposite role to Pluto to balance things out. He will make an opposition to Venus in Libra on August 10th and trine to Mercury in Leo on August 11th. We might feel more romantic, softer, but also delusional and idealistic when dealing with others. The most challenging aspect is a square to Mars in Cancer on August 17th. This connection may call for expanding consciousness and embarking on a spiritual journey. Please be responsible with alcohol and opiates during these days.
3. Uranus is quite active in August, during both eclipses. On August 11th, he makes a lovely trine to Venus in Libra, and on August 12th, a sextile to Mercury in Leo. He will bring excitement, a needed change, and adventure. His role in the Total Solar Eclipse is to wake us up and show us endless possibilities where we can shine and step into our leadership roles. On the other hand, during the Partial Lunar Eclipse on August 28th, it is a completely different story; he becomes the axis of a T-Square figuration with the Full Moon in Pisces. We might expect shocking revelations, unexpected news, and changes to plans. Be cautious and don't take any risks during these days.
4. Saturn is our friend in August. We need his structure and discipline during these Uranian eclipses. He will start and end the month on a high. On August 6th, a beautiful trine to the Sun in Leo makes us more projective and assertive. Another nice trine will occur on August 17th with a trine to Mercury in Leo—a great opportunity to structure our ideas and thoughts and make long-term contract commitments. The only challenging aspect will be with Venus in Libra on August 21st. Balancing our relationships can be challenging. Don't be too hard on yourself. The best aspect is a lovely trine with Jupiter in Leo on August 31st. Saturn-Jupiter connections are businesses and long-term success-oriented. We won't overstretch our ambition, keeping our growth realistic and aligned with a progressive future.
5. Jupiter is coming out of the opposition to Pluto and starting to enjoy his time in Leo this month. Conjunction with Mercury on August 15th is excellent for expanding our views, philosophies, and ideas. Great for learning and expanding our minds. Do it with a roar :D Sextile to Venus in Libra two days later, on August 17th, brings many social gatherings and encounters. Organize a party and have some fun! Trine to Saturn on August 31st can expand your business. Good luck!
6. Mars will enter Cancer on August 11th. Our actions will be more defensive and protective. A square to Neptune on August 17th is the only activity for the entire month. As a true Cancanrian, this month Mars won't be in the front line. But he will be restless as he is out of bounds the entire month.
7. Venus is the queen this month! She enters her home, sign of Libra, on August 6th, where she stays for the entire month. In the middle of the month, on August 10th and 11th, she creates the Grand Air Trine with Pluto and Uranus, transforming relationships on the next level! Opposition to Neptune on August 10th reminds us to add a dash of romance to all new, exciting connections. Sextile to Jupiter on August 17th and opposition to Saturn on August 21st bring harmony and peace with commitment and responsibility,
8. Mercury is speeding up after clearing its retrograde shadow. He enters Leo on August 9th and Mercury on August 25th. During his stay in Leo, after clearing the opposition to Pluto on August 11th, he makes all the positive, flowing aspects to other planets. This period will be more creative, expressive, and loud. Mercury Cazimi will occur on August 27th, when Mercury meets the Sun in Virgo. A more analytical, critical-thinking approach will take place.
9. Virgo season starts on August 22nd when the Sun enters Virgo. Practicality and organizational skills will take over, but we have to go through the Lunar Eclipse and the square with Uranus first on August 28th.
10. Juno, in her retrograde phase, enters Capricorn on August 11th, revising and restructuring our long-term partnerships. Ceres enters Cancer on August 12th, just in time for the Total Solar Eclipse. This ingress is another good omen during this eclipse. Ceres loves being in Cancer, where she provides an abundance of care, food, and nurturing.

August is marked with eclipses and Uranus influence. Although we may experience interruptions, unexpected events, and disruptions, there are many growth opportunities to make a fresh start and change your life for the better!
