Hello Fall, Goodbye Summer!

After a turbulent summer, I am pleased to say fall looks more promising. Uranus will join others in retrograde motion on September 10. He will stay retrograde until February 8, 2027. The retrograde period allows us to revise new futuristic ideas before we implement them. Juno, our goddess of partnerships, will move directly in the sign of Capricorn on September 16. Stability and long-term commitment will be a focus within our alliances. Venus is in her retrograde shadow, so watch out for relationship and financial topics you might have to reevaluate during her retrograde motion in October and November.

Sept Lunations
Sept Lunations

On September 10, the New Moon at 18°25' Virgo is in a tight sextile to Mars in Cancer. This aspect offers many fruitful opportunities if you approach it with care and precision. Ruler Mercury enters Libra (he is at the World Point) - a diplomatic and harmonious approach is the answer. The World Point suggests greater visibility in personal lives and greater global prominence. Mercury will oppose Neptune in Aries; watch out for false promises and make sure you have pure, grounded intentions when dealing with others. Great time for creative writing. The most affected will be all mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, and all of you with natal placements between 15°-21° of those signs.

On September 26, the Full Moon is at 3°37' Aries. Moon is tightly conjunct Neptune and is in a sextile to Pluto and Uranus, activating an existing mini trine between these planets. Patience won't be our strongest asset during this lunation, especially with Mars opposite Pluto and Venus square Pluto. Intensity, control, conformation, and a will to have it your way no matter what will be strong. Full Moons are hard as is, and this one will bring relationship issues to the surface. This lunation is part of the lunar gestation family, which began on the New Moon on March 29, 2025. Events of that New Moon might come up on this lunation. The most affected will be all cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and all of you with natal placements between 1° and 5° of those signs.

September Ingresses
September Ingresses
  1. Pluto will be quite busy in the second half of the month. On September 12, a harmonious aspect with Mercury deepens our communication and allows us to go beyond the superficial. Just three days later, on September 15, a square with Venus in Scorpio intensifies our relationships and might bring some money challenges. An existing sextile to Neptune will be exact the same day, softening our controlling urges. During the Full Moon on September 26, a lovely Pluto-Sun trine brings a sense of empowerment and immense psychological strength. Don't forget, Pluto is out of bounds until December 9, acting wilder and more eccentric.
  2. Neptune is an important actor in both lunations this month, bringing unclearity and dispersion of energy. On September 12, shortly after the New Moon, the opposition to Mercury might bring false promises and unrealistic ideas, so focus on creative writing and artistic pursuits. The Neptune-Pluto sextile highlights our intuition around September 15. A day before the Full Moon, on September 25, the Sun-Neptune opposition brings idealism, uncertainty about who we are, and an illusion about our goals and dreams. Again, lean on your intuition, artistic expression, and connection with divinity.
  3. Uranus shook things up during the eclipse season, but he is making amends this fall with two harmonious aspects - trine with Mercury on September 13 and trine to the Sun on September 28. Both Uranus touches will bring great ideas, innovative thinking, and a need for freedom and change. Take calculated risks on those days to move forward in the most positive ways. He is also retrograde from September 10; revise some crazy things you dismissed before; they might work this time.
  4. Saturn starts the month with a hard aspect to Mars on September 1. Feeling restricted, limited, and frustrated can get you nowhere. Instead, stay back, don't get involved, and use this energy for physical activity. Opposition to Mercury on September 18 can bring some hard, serious conversations we would like to avoid. Especially with authority figures. Don't ask for a raise or demand things during this period. It can cause resistance and unwanted results.
  5. Jupiter is awfully quiet this month, which can bring some things into perspective, but also limits our growth and expansion. The only aspect will be a sextile to Mercury in Libra on September 21. Use this time for learning, teaching, and traveling! Connect with people all around the world and have fun 😄
  6. Mars is changing sign and entering Leo on September 27th, but before that, watch out for trouble actions on September 1 with a square to Saturn. Remember that things take time; don't rush. On the same day, a sextile to Mercury allows us to think before we act and helps us mitigate the Saturn situation. On September 14, a sextile to the Sun brings more vitality and energy. Don't waste it, because Neptune's influence can slow us down.
  7. Venus will be in her pre-retrograde shadow the entire month. On September 10, she enters Scorpio and squares Pluto 5 days later. That's the only activity for her this month, but it will be loud. Take care of your finances and joint assets at this time; some people might not disclose everything, which can cause a crisis.
  8. Mercury will be in three different signs this month, starting in Virgo, entering Libra on September 10, and later Scorpio on September 30. He is very busy as always, making lovely aspects to Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter - expand your mind, go deep, and act on your ideas. During his visit in Libra, oppositions to Saturn and Neptune may bring some confusion and unwillingness to compromise. Overall, fast, busy Mercury calls for taking time to process information and making sure our nervous system is in balance.
  9. Chiron will retrograde back into Aries on September 17th, finishing our identity-wound stories. With Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron all retrograde in Aries, it's not a good time to rush, act impulsively, and compete for every little thing. Sometimes the bravest thing is to let go and stay still.
  10. The Autumn equinox begins on September 22nd with the Sun's entry into Libra. In the following month, we are asked to harmonize situations, make peace, not war, and find a diplomatic solution. Venus, as the ruler of the Sun, will go retrograde midway through the Sun's journey in Libra, which can highlight old relationship patterns and bring people from the past back.

September is a slowing-down month. Take your time to think, act, and react. Jupiter and Venus, both benifics are quite this month, which brings fewer growth opportunities, but it's a great time to stabilize your foundations, making sure you can grow on something solid. Do your due diligence, pursue more artistic and spiritual things, and don't force things.
