March Stations

Spring is coming with new opportunities reachable with hard work, courage, and inner strength. Although Mercury remains retrograde until March 20th, fogging our ability to make clear decisions, we can use this time for reflection and retrospection. We will need to wait until April for full speed ahead, but March will bring a glimpse of newness in our lives. The good news is that Jupiter, the planet of growth and prosperity, turns direct on March 10th. It is time to extend our hands and reach out for the opportunities that await us.

March Lunations
March Lunations

On March 3rd, the Total Lunar Eclipse at 12°53' Virgo, ruled by Mercury retrograde in Pisces, sextiles Jupiter in Cancer, still retrograde. This Eclipse is heavy in water with all the personal planets in Pisces, along with the ruler, Mercury. It's time to say goodbye, let go, and don't look back. This Eclipse will be emotional, sensitive, and highly anxious. This lunation is part of the lunar gestation family, which began on the New Moon on September 2nd, 2024. The events of that New Moon might come up on this lunation. The most affected will be all mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, and all of you with natal placements between 10°-16° of those signs.

On March 18th, the New Moon at 28°27' Pisces sextiles Uranus and Juno. New opportunities for realizing our dreams, especially in our relations with others. Jupiter, the traditional ruler, is in a hard aspect to Venus, prompting us to make the first step if we wish to prosper within our relationships. Neptune, the modern ruler, is still in tight conjunction with Saturn, allowing us to structure our dreams and take the leap of faith. The most affected will be all mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, and all of you with natal placements between 25°-29° of those signs. The first few degrees of cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) may also feel the effects, or if you have any natal placements at those degrees.

March Ingresses
March Ingresses
  1. Mars enters Pisces on March 2nd, just a day before the Eclipse. Our actions will be softer, and we might feel lost, especially when he meets Mercury, still retrograde on March 15th. Great days for meditation, listening to your inner voices and intuition, spiritual practice, and revising your faith. A lovely water trine between Mars and Jupiter on March 21st can bring protective energy and a willingness to fight for our beliefs. Spiritual warrior is awake!
  2. Sun in Pisces trine Jupiter in Cancer on March 5th brings a level of hope and optimism for the future. Our emotions can run high, but this aspect brings a level of emotional confidence and strength.
  3. Venus is highly active in the first half of the month. On March 4th, a lovely sextile with Uranus can bring unexpected romantic gestures and bring some sparks into our love lives. She will enter Aries on March 6th with a bold meetup with Neptune and Saturn on March 7th and 8th. Our ideals will face reality, testing our courage to try new things. Don't doubt yourself, as fortune favors the bold. Another lovely sextile with Pluto on March 10th can reframe relationships by inviting us to face the shadows with more courage. Finally, she will square Jupiter on the New Moon on March 18th, promising prosperity if we take action.
  4. Vesta, asteroid of devotion, home, and eternal flame burning in us, will enter Pisces on March 10th. Our level of faith will determine our destiny. Faith and courage are the formula for success.
  5. On March 15th, another asteroid goddess changes sign. Ceres enters Taurus, emphasizing our need to nourish our bodies and take care of our physical temple.
  6. The new astrological year starts with the Sun ingressing into Aries on March 20th. In the next few days, Sun will meet with Neptune on March 22nd and Saturn on March 25th. The New Year speaks of new beginnings and the dissolving of obsolete forms and structures. It's time to make decisions, act, and move forward. At this point, all planets are moving forward, and so must we, collectively and personally. Although our path is still unclear, and uncertainty is in the air, we must find the courage within if we want to achieve our goals.
  7. Saturn-Pluto sextile exacts on March 28th, emphasizing the reform of governance and the start of new societal rules.
  8. Juno, another asteroid goddess, enters Aquarius on March 29th, shifting our focus to equality and human rights. We can expect big changes when she meets Pluto in a few days.
  9. The month will finish with Venus entering Taurus on March 30th, the sign she loves to be in. Focus will be on material and bodily matters, money, and other earthly possessions.

March is a bridge month between letting go of things, people, and situations and moving forward to a new direction on a new course. The first half of the month is more challenging with the Eclipse and Mercury retrograde, but as we enter Aries season, things will drastically change, and we can finally move forward.

Best period of the month: March 5, 9, 21, and 26-30th.

Challenging period of the month: March 3, 7, 8, 18, and 22-25th.

Happy New Astrological Year 2026!
