February 2026 at a glance

February is loading Eclipse Season and the first Mercury retrograde of the year!

Uranus is the last outer planet to go direct on February 3rd. He is also closing his Taurus story in the following months, until he moves into Gemini on April 25th. We can expect some unexpected developments with money, food, and our worldly possessions. Mercury in Pisces goes retrograde on February 26th, entering pre-retrograde shadow on February 11th. We might have difficulty verbally expressing ourselves, and our logic might dissolve. The best use of this position is to use our imagination, to speak in other forms: through metaphors and analogies. Dive into music, poems, and other storytelling.

On February 1st, the Full Moon at 13°03' Leo, opposite a huge stellium in Aquarius: Pluto, Mars, Vesta, Sun, Venus, and Mercury. All eyes are on you; it's your time to shine and showcase your leadership skills. Finally getting recognition for your hard work will bring authentic confidence. "The World Is Your Oyster"! This lunation is part of the lunar gestation family, which began on the New Moon on August 4th, 2024. The events of that new Moon might come up on this lunation. The most affected will be all fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and all of you with natal placements between 10°-16° of those signs.

On February 17th, the Annular Solar Eclipse at 28°49' Aquarius squares Uranus, a potent, disturbing energy. The need for freedom, equality, changing the status quo, rebellion, and a focus on a better future will be among the themes of this eclipse. The things we start now will cause life-changing events, and things will never be the same. Therefore, be cautious about how you want to proceed, your affiliations, and your wishes for humanity in general. The most affected will be all fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and all of you with natal placements between 26°-29° of those signs. The first few degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) may also feel the effects, or if you have any natal placements at those degrees.

1. After the Full Moon on February 1st, and Uranus's change of motion on February 3rd, the sequence of events will be surprising and turbulent in the upcoming week. Mercury will square Uranus on February 5th, bringing shocking news and information. Watch out for overstimulated minds and neuroses. Tensions will ease down when Mercury enters Pisces on February 6th, smoothing our minds with imagination and dreaminess.
2. Venus will square Uranus on February 8th, asking for more freedom and innovation within relationships. Watch out for impulsive spending and let go of the rigidity. Energy changes when Venus enters Pisces on February 10th. She loves being in Pisces, enjoys romance, and prefers a softer, more gentle approach in her relationships with others.
3. Big shift of the month and one of the major events of the year is Saturn's ingress into Aries on February 13th and its conjunction to Neptune on February 20th. We need to showcase our courage more than ever. Focus your physical energy into something productive and resist impulsive, impatient actions. Willpower and drive are essential for fulfilling our dreams and overcoming imminent structural collapses at the collective level.  
4. On February 16th, just a day before the Solar Eclipse, the Sun squares Uranus and Mercury trines Jupiter. Sudden changes are coming, but our ability for empathy and kind conversations will help. The Sun moves into Pisces on February 18th, preparing us for the upcoming change of the season and announcing a new, fresh start arriving just around the corner.
5. Venus Jupiter trine on February 22nd is a wonderful opportunity to attract love, abundance, and growth into your life, especially within your relationships and finances.
6. The month will finish with a Mars-Uranus square on February 27th. Be careful in traffic, expect technical issues, and be aware of sudden confrontations and accidents. Avoid risks if possible and be extra cautious. Counterpoint for this restless energy will be the Venus-Mercury conjunction on February 28th. Mediate, listen to the music, or dive into the movies to rest, recharge, and relax.
